Fitmas in July FAQS
What is Fitmas in July? It's a festive winter boot camp, indoors, inclusive and fun. We're bringing the xmas spirit to your fitness routine. Think tinsel, terrible Christmas music, and a seriously good sweat. It's open to everyone, whether you're a regular or joining us for the first time.
What if I'm not fit? Perfect, this is exactly the place to start. Pride Fitness is built on the principle that fitness is for every body, at every level. Our trainers design sessions so that beginners and experienced exercisers work side by side without anyone feeling out of their depth. You won't be judged, compared, or pushed past what's right for you. The only requirement is showing up.
What if I can't do an activity? No problem at all. Every exercise can be modified, and our trainers will offer alternatives so you can participate fully at your own level. If you have an injury, let us know before the session and we'll sort you out. Nothing is compulsory, rest is always an option too.
Do I have to dress up? You don't have to, but why wouldn't you? We absolutely encourage festive attire. Santa hats, ugly Christmas sweaters, reindeer antlers, tinsel as a belt... just remember you're working out so freedom of movement is vital! And if you just want to come in regular activewear, that's completely fine too. You'll still have a great time.
What should I bring? Bring a towel, a mat and some water.
Tell me about your other boot camp. I thought you'd never ask! Regular Pride Fitness boot camp runs every Wednesday & Friday morning, currently indoors for winter but over summer we're at Reid Oval. It follows the same inclusive, welcoming format. Sessions are designed for mixed fitness levels, and built around a community where everyone belongs. If Fitmas in July is your first taste, we'd love to see you become a regular. Find out more info here, and keep an eye out in your email for a welcoming discount code!
